Welcoming a New Baby is a beautiful and life changing experience for families. Many parents find that having an experienced and certified professional assist them through pregnancy, birth and postpartum times, a helpful and often necessary support.
Ursela Morton, a certified breastfeeding consultant, child and family development specialist, Doula and birth educator, founded Mother To Mother in 1995, with the intention of providing educational and supportive care for birthing and postpartum families. Through her professional practice and personal experiences as a mother, she began to understand that families often find their need for guidance unmet through their birthing, breastfeeding and postpartum experiences. For this reason, Mother To Mother was formed to ensure that families would be able to find the nurturing and supportive care they require to help them through the joyous and challenging moments welcoming a new baby into their families can bring.
Over the years Mother To Mother has worked side by side with Obstetricians, Midwives, Pediatricians, and other complementary health providers to ensure that mothers receive the best educational care, comfort products, and supportive services making pregnancy, birth and postpartum experiences the best they can be.
Mother To Mother was one of the first Doula services to provide comprehensive support for families. We have supported over 500 families (and counting) in beautiful births and less-stressful postpartum experiences. We are thankful for the mothers and families who have entrusted their needs to us over the years. Our caring and committed staff of consultants and doulas give of themselves each day to comfort, encourage, and care for the mothers and families.
